Location: In front of the Police/EMS building (301 W. Lincoln Street)
The Nappanee EMS was chosen to receive a “Survivor” tree that was planted in front of the Police/EMS building in honor of September 11. Come stop by and pay respect to the lives that were lost on that tragic day. May we never forget. The tree we received was part of the seedling program from the original “Survivor” tree found at ground zero. Visit 911memorial.org/survivor-tree for more information on the survivor tree.
Location: Southwest side of City Hall (300 W. Lincoln Street)
This memorial was established to create a place to honor those who perished in war. Be sure to take time to visit and remember the many veterans who fought for our freedom.
There are 5 parks in the Nappanee Parks and Recreation system with various amenities for all ages and abilities including a pool, skate park, tennis courts, baseball diamonds and many green spaces for relaxation. We also offer a nature area and softball diamonds. Are you looking for ways to entertain your K-9 friends? Get a membership to our Dog Park.
