Jeff’s 5th Annual Toy Challenge!

Join us in contributing to Jeff’s 5th annual toy challenge!

The challenge will end at 4:30 pm on December 1st. We will try to keep you updated about the donations received on Facebook. Let’s make this a fun and exciting way to bring cheer to others in need.

FOR KIDS: All the toys that we collect will go to The Center (FCDC) Christmas Jubilee. If you bring new unwrapped toys, coats, hats, gloves, and stocking stuffers to fill the Toys for Tots box, you will receive 1 point for every item you bring in. Bonus points will be awarded for selfies and photo posts on Nappanee Chamber’s Facebook page. Please see the list below for suggestions.

ITEMS ESPECIALLY NEEDED FOR KIDS:
 Mittens & Snow gloves
 Winter coats
 Blankets (all sizes)
 Perfume/toiletries (teens)
 Craft kits
 Games/puzzles
 Dolls & accessories
 Hand held electronic games (school age)
 $15-$20 Gift cards (teens)
 Sports equipment
 Sports Team clothing
 Children’s books

FOR SENIORS: All the items we collect for our SENIOR CITIZENS will be distributed through The Elder Haus and The Center (FCDC). If you bring NEW UNWRAPPED SHAMPOO, LOTION, CANDY, PUZZLES, to fill the Support Our Seniors box, you will receive 1 point for every item you bring in. Please see the list below for suggestions.

 Candy
 Perfume/toiletries
 Crossword Puzzles
 Games/puzzles
 Word Search
 Tylenol
 $15-$20 Gift cards

Winner will receive: A monetary donation in you name to the Wa-Nee School of your choice.

All items need to be dropped off at the Chamber office: 302 W. Market St.

Events Posting Policy
Events for this calendar should:

  • be located within the City of Nappanee
  • be non-partisan and non-political
  • provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population
  • promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community
  • be open to the general public (for free or cost)
  • be organized for non-commercial and not for profit events registered with an approve special use permit (for example, farmer’s market)

All submissions are reviewed by the Director of Community Outreach before posting to the City’s Community Calendar. The City has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar.
