When a tornado ravaged our community in 2007, thousands of our caring residents were out in the days and weeks following the storm to help their neighbors clean up and put their lives back in order. Folks in some parts of the country may think that sounds like an unusual occurrence — in Nappanee, it's the way of life.
We have a deep sense of civic pride. On behalf of our residents, our city government works very hard to make sure we maintain those strong feelings.
