The Anglemeyer Osteopathic Family Clinic is located on East Market Street in Nappanee and is staffed with five physicians: Dr. Walter C. Anglemeyer, Dr. Walter D. Anglemeyer, Dr. David L. Coil, Dr. Lisa A. West and Dr. Fred J. Schlorke. The doctors practice a full array of family practice medicine including OB/GYN, pediatrics, geriatrics, adolescent medicine and general medical services. They also do minor surgeries, FAA medical exams, DOT and DCL physicals, vasectomies, endoscopies (upper and lower) and osteopathic manipulation.

 

The Nappanee Family Medical Clinic is located on North Nappanee Street and is owned by Elkhart General Hospital of Elkhart, Indiana. Medical care and services are provided by Alvin R. Graber, M.D. and Verlin T. Houck, M.D. Doctors Graber and Houck are family physicians providing OB care, workmen's compensation care and minor surgical procedures as well as routine wellness care. New patients are welcome.

 

Northwood Physicians, Inc. is located on North Main Street (S.R. 19) in Nappanee and offers over 22 years experience in Family Medicine, Industrial Medicine, Emergency Room and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. Through lifestyle analysis and health promotion, they are committed to preventing disease before it begins.

 

 

 

 

Goshen Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital and Bremen Community Hospital provide acute medical care to residents of Nappanee. Goshen Hospital is a 150-bed facility offering a full range of health care services to provide quality inpatient care as well as a significant number of outpatient services and is located 15 miles northeast of Nappanee. Goshen General Hospital has over 150 physicians on its medical staff in 19 specialties. Services offered include 24-hour emergency care, Circle of Caring Birthplace, the Orthopedic and Physical Rehabilitation Center, Care At Home, hospice, health promotion and wellness, cardiology services, urology and pediatrics. An expanded cancer treatment program brings state-of-the-art oncology services to the area. The hospital's heart program has also been expanding with a cardiac catheterization suite now providing this service locally.

 

Elkhart General Hospital, located 20 miles north of Nappanee, is licensed for 367 beds. The hospital provides a full range of services, including 24-hour emergency service. A Transitional Care Unit provides recovering patients with continuous professional care, similar to that of a nursing home. The Cardiac Catheterization laboratory offers full cardiac services, and the Rehabcenter provides a full range of rehabilitation therapy. Elkhart General also operates a Home Health Services Department, as well as a Behavioral medicine Department(for patients with emotional problems), open heart surgery, home medical equipment, a mental health crisis center, and River Pointe Surgery Center (a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center).

 

The Community Hospital of Bremen provides general acute health care to the residents of the area and is eight miles west of Nappanee. Hospital services provided include obstetrics, pediatrics, maternity, lab and radiology, cardiopulmonary, outpatient surgery, home health care, and 24-hour emergency care, as well as occupational health services. A recent expansion enabled enhancement of the hospital specialist and physical therapy services, and provided space to sponsor a variety of community benefit agencies and programs.
