The Nappanee
Historic Preservation Commission was created by the Nappanee City Council
in 1988 with passage of the City’s Historic Preservation Ordinance.
The Commission consists of a group of five residents interested in historic
preservation and appointed by the Mayor. The commission works to identify,
protect and promote Nappanee’s historic resources, including landmarks,
